![]() ![]() It’s understandable some people prefer these standalone apps and know exactly what they are getting. What’s the difference? Do I need both? Standalone is lifetime, right? I’ve tried to outline the reasons for no standalone Pro app this time around, but to hit the main point again - having multiple apps available for purchase is simply way too confusing for a new user who is starting to use Infuse for the first time…and even some users who have used it before. I’m a little let down by that to be honest. But geez… I wish they would of said something like "Hey guys. Now the lifetime for me is $105… Infuse made it kinda known no discount would be happening. C’est la vie) but didn’t give any notice of bumping up the cost on the lifetime just before the release of 7. But instead, they not only didn’t give a discount (Which I’m not hurt by. Infuse knew there were users hoping for some sort of discount. I’m sure there were others hoping for some sort of loyalty pricing (Someone even mentioned instead of the free year give it off the lifetime. I see the option of getting the lifetime. Now with no option to purchase 7 outright. Which I was happy to pay and felt good about the product and supporting by continuing purchasing. I’m not even bothered by the idea of no discounts for loyalty users. But that’s why many of us were buying the new versions…Īfter thinking about it for a bit. Every software is going to subscription now because software needs support and there are always updates on both the hardware and software sides so support is never ending. ![]()
